About
A painting company that does the repairs too.
Brothers HR Painting & Renovation works across Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area — interiors, exteriors, cabinets, and the drywall and plaster work that has to happen before any of it.
Most complaints about painters are not about paint.
They are about a crew that did not show up, a price that moved, dust through the whole house, or a wall that looked fine for six months and then showed every crack that was skimmed over instead of repaired.
Almost all of that comes from the same place: the preparation was priced out of the job to win it. So the parts of this trade that are invisible on the day — the filling, the sanding, the priming, the second coat that actually covers — are the parts we treat as non-negotiable.
We do the repair work as well as the painting for the same reason. Handing a wall between two trades is where the standard usually drops, because neither one owns the result.
Unfinished, finished, and the line between
What we will not cut.
-
Preparation is not an upgrade
Filling, sanding, caulking and spot-priming are in the job, not in an optional line at the bottom of the quote. A finish is only ever as good as what is under it.
-
Edges by hand
Cut lines are brushed, not taped over and hoped for. Tape leaves a ridge and it bleeds; a steady hand does neither.
-
The scope is written down
What is included and what is not, before anything starts. A surprise on the final invoice means somebody scoped the job badly — usually deliberately.
-
We clean up daily
Dust sheets down, tools away, floors clear at the end of every day. You are living in it while we work in it.

We say no
If a surface needs repair before it can be painted, we say so rather than coating over it. A job that fails in a year is worse for us than a job we did not take.
